REPAIR GAME · ONE RULE · FREE TO PLAY
The Apology Deck.
Three tiers of debt: the small ones, the old ones, and the one that's ten years late. One person apologizes. The receiver is allowed exactly one response — “I heard you.” No relitigating. That single rule is what makes it safe.
16 CARDS · ONE RULE · 2-8 PLAYERS
One person draws a card and speaks it as their own apology, to someone at the table. The receiver has exactly one thing they are allowed to say back: “I heard you.”No defending, no relitigating. That rule is the whole game.
HOW IT WORKS
Most apologies die the second they become a debate.
01
Draw and own it
Pick a tier. Draw a card. Speak it as your own apology, to a specific person at the table.
02
Three words back
The receiver says only: I heard you. No defending, no fixing, no relitigating who was right.
03
Pass it on
The debt was named and received. That is enough for tonight. The deck passes to the next person.
